I’ve written before about Pinterest’s determined rise in popularity among fellow social networks, and of its continually developing relationship between inspiration and monetization. If anyone still doubts there’s a real link between the two, a recent infographic from Shopify helps eliminate that doubt.
Some interesting data points:
- Pins with prices get 36% more likes than those without.
- Some companies already have more followers on Pinterest than Twitter.
- The average order from a Shopify store via Pinterest is $80 — double the average order from Facebook.

My brother suggested I might like this website. He was entirely right. This post actually made my day. You can not imagine just how much time I had spent for this info! Thanks!
