Graphic Designer

We are seeking a fun, creative individual to join our dynamic team in Santa Barbara

Tasks include:

  • Creating unique, original design solutions for both web and print
  • Assisting with tasks at all stages of the design process for both web and print projects
  • Brainstorming creative solutions to client requests
  • Monitoring and incorporating new design trends as appropriate
  • Some light office tasks such as answering phones when needed (we’re a small office and we all chip in on this)

Skills & traits needed:

  • Extremely knowledgeable in Adobe’s creative suite
  • Proficient in Word/Powerpoint
  • Experience with web and print design with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction and feedback on designs
  • Willingness to work within brand specs as needed
  • Desire to work and grow as part of a team

Bonus:

  • Knowledge of HTML & CSS
  • Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress, Joomla
  • Blogging or social media experience, or willingness to learn

This is a 20 hour/week in-house position in our Santa Barbara office. We’ll set you up on a mac with the latest software, and we’ll even let you pick the office music (at least sometimes). Hourly rate depends on experience, with room to grow.

Experienced PHP Programmer

Are you an experienced PHP programmer? We’re looking for someone to add to our team. Knowledge of PHP is a must, and experience with popular content management systems such as WordPress, Joomla or Drupal is preferred. Preference will be given to local candidates in the Southern California region who can attend on-site meetings in Santa Barbara as needed. This is currently a contract position that could lead to full time work.
